I was reading and talking to people about those that use 2 computer monitors for their set-up. One for mixing and one for recording or I assume many combo's.
My question is this... I have a new PC that doesnt have a sound card, just onboard vid. (the dreaded 8Mb) What type of vid card would I need to run 2 monitors????
Or is there something that you see in computer shows that run 10 at once.
Thanks in advance....

Stacy

I use a pair of Event PS6 monitors. My card is a US122.

Now I'm the silly one.

I re-read my post and dont even understand it LOL
My question is about the viewing monitors.
Why I even mentioned sound card is beyond me LOL
I want to know how to hook up to viewing monitors.
I will also go get another cup of coffee before I read or post again LOL
thanks

Thank you Thats what i was talking about LOL
here is a silly question.... Can you run 2 mouse's (mice) and 2 keyboards at the same time?

Stacy

Don't know. Most laptops let you have 2 poining devices and an outboard keyboard. If you've got some open USB ports on your PC it'd be easy to try.

You can get a KVM switch, which allows you to plug the mouse and keyboard into it, and then leads run from it to the two pc's.

You usually just hit scroll lock twice to switch between the computers.

If you only have one computer, you can get ps2 key/mouse splitters.

Woohoooooooo I am excited now
Thanks to apl, I ordered that card... That is a steal since I am a comparison shopper!!! LOL
