Using Condenser Mic to record growls and screams

As the title says using Condenser mic to record grownls and screams (metal type) music. Is it good or no?
 
Try it. You might learn something.

....you wont get far if you're not willing to experiment in YOUR space with YOUR equipment. No one here can tell you what will work and what wont for you.
 
dynamics have a different sound to condensers, use an sm57 and and cloudlifter CL-1
