Using an iPad as THE control surface for Logic Pro

All you have is now
Just an FYI this guy goes through all the various control surfaces and concludes that the iPad using Logic remote is the bomb diddy bomb bomb as a super easy to use super powerful control surface.

All my new gear is still in their boxes waiting for me to complete the room...looking forward to the "new and improved" EZ PZ recording system I am migrating into.

Yeah - I just can’t get motivated to use it - i have a hard enough time with my Monitor which is a 32” - and I don’t want my Logic Laptop on line.- still MusicTechHelpGuy is more convincing than Why Logic Rules boring as old soap guy.

You do not have to be online to do this...it's a share thing via I believe bluetooth...The coolness / bottom line is "IF" you want to use a control surface (I do) don't waste your money on anything but an iPad. The power this has over any and all other control surfaces pales them all....Multitouch fader control...fiddling with vst's ( and in my case controlling my Flow 8 mixer) or just start, stop, pause and record. For me I am shooting for the barest of bare bones outboard gear. A 27" monitor, iPad, apple keyboard and logitech trackball and my 88 key controller is all I want to see... the mixer / interface, the mac mini and anything else will be hidden away...
