No boombox in particular, just something that is particularly cheap. What i'm trying to do is not get a wild signal when i record and also use the boombox's eq.
...a mixer takes a wide variety of mics and signal sources, streamlines them using pres and lets you do nice things such as routing, EQing, blending, etc.... to send them to some sort of recorder or other device.
A boombox is a playback format that plays CDs, tapes, the radio... so exactly how could you use a boombox as a "mixer"?????????
