Usind the DP-01FX/CD

Hi. I am quite new to recording and I recently bought the DP-01FX/CD. I am going to record classical guitar music using a microphone. I'm somewhat confused by the instructions. Should I first record the song and then title it or should I go to "creating a new song, title it and then record the guitar music? Any help is welcomed.
 
I have the DP-01. I record first and then save it with a title. I don't know if that's the correct way, but it works.

You have to create a new song before recording, as it sets up the 'space' for the actual recording. You can title it anytime.
 
Same here. I f You don't create a new song, You will record over an old one.
