I posted this to the Yahoo MR-8 forum also ( Anybody interested in that group can go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MR8/)
Sorry if it's redundant, but I'm hoping to get an answer to the following questions:
So, let's say I have a rhythm guitar part on track 1, and I'm recording a vocal on track 2, but it takes me a few attempts to get the vocal take I want. On a cassette machine, I just rewind and perform the take until it's right. On the MR-8 am I using up extra memory when I simply rewind and start again on the same track? (Probably a basic question, but I'm in the beginning stages here.)
Also, does anybody know if the card reader on an HP all-in-one
printer will read the compact flash card from the MR-8. Are card
readers for images and sound files the same or different?
Thanks everybody for tips and sharing ideas. It really helps!
