i have a budget of €150( $208) and was looking at a few USB Condenser mics on the market

1) Samson G Track
2) T.BONE SC450
3) Audio Technica AT2020 USB ( out of my price range )

i live in Ireland and can buy overseas as long as the shipping doesn't go over my budget

Please i need advice if there are any better mics out there then i'd appreciate if i could get suggestions

P.S i Rap and am looking to get into singing. I also already own the Samson CO1U USB version

I would not get *any* USB mic. - it's far too restricting.

I would get a CEntrance MicPort Pro.

This will convert any mic. you want to USB - converts at 24/96 if you want and even has built-in phantom power and headphones monitor output.

With this you use the mic. of your choice and the mic. can also be used for other things at a later date.

Wow, John Willett hangin' with us humble home recordists, really appreciate your presence here! Listen to him seriously.

BTW a while back, bought the original MXL Mic Mate, but it was basically not suited for firing up dynamic microphones. Even the MXL 990 (gasp) I mess around with was not getting enough juice to properly function.

Chris

P.S. MXL makes a number of other nice microphones, but the 990 is less "hit" and more
"miss".
