I've decided to go with the I7 2600k sandy bridge 3.4ghz (3.8 turbo boost) processor.
Now I'm trying to decide the motherboard. I've been looking at the asus p8p67 deluxe or the evga p67 ftw.
Any suggestions? Like I said ill be using the rme hdspe raydat. So any further advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't use turbo boost at all with audio recording. It can put a lot of strain on during the boosts. You can set it up so it doesn't use it though, so it's all good to go for it. I recommend the EVGA out of those 2, though I'm sure both are good.

I'd have a look at nVidia's GTS 250 for a dual monitor setup. Fairly cheap too. £50-60 [$80-95]. I'm sure there are even cheaper, but most likely, they will have mismatched monitor outputs. It's good to have 2 of the same.
