my local axe shop pimps Peavey mic cables. i can't tell the brand of the wire, but it's a good guage and heavy--i suspect it's quality wire. the connectors are black Neutrik.
i've had VERY good success with these cables, and i'd recommend them to anyone looking for "decent" mic cables. they tend to run me about $18 for a 20ft cable.
