Unisound Condenser?

Hi there,

I just got a Unisound Electret Condenser Mic (Model EM-83) from a friend.
The mic works with a AA battery. It was made in Japan...
I was hoping anyone could help me find out a bit more about this mic.
I can't find any website of any sorts on the manufacturer.
Is it a good mic or is it junk? I have not tested it yet, but was wondering - if the sound is good for micing up drums or even a guitar amp - how much would this mic be worth in $$$? It looks VERY old but in perfect condition - there is not a scratch on it.

I saw a wireless Unisound condenser mic in the completed listings at eBay. It sold for 11.83 US. I don't know if it was the same model number though.
