So, a couple of months ago, I was commissioned by a friend of mine to write some music for a couple of TV commercials he was producing for the U.S. Mint. I wrote and recorded the music in my home studio, and was paid quite nicely. While waiting through the seemingly eternal approval process, I just learned that the woman in charge of the spots really liked one piece in particular - so much so that they now want to use it as background music when they put you on hold! Not exactly a top 40 hit, but I'm glad one of my babies is gonna be out there! I just delivered the CD today, but I'm not sure when it'll actually be in place.
