I'll confess...I have a pretty ugly guitar..and its a gibson. Its a 335s professional deluxe....its not a real 335 semi-hollow...its a solid body (similar in weight to a les paul). The thing was made from 1981-83...something like that. It was silverburst but I swear it is green now...sonically great so I play/keep it...in the closet when company comes.
I thought many times about having my first woodworking experience on this guitar......any suggestions?

Seems the guys would probably like to see the body sculpted to replicate Monica's ass or Linda's face. Post a pic once you're finished. I have an idea of where the bridge would be.......

I love Rickenbackers! Very cool looking. Hate the basses they ake though, those things are butt ugly. I HATE RG'S. Ibanez shoulkd be shut down for making those and the JEMS. They might play good (the high end ones), but they are UGLY. All those 80's Jacksons, Charvels and Kramers should be taken and burned in my opionion too.

After everyone putting down all the guitars I seem to own(charvel/jackson custom job before mass production, richinbacher 4001 bass, ovation celeberty, B.C. Rich n.j. series.). I thought it was time someone picked a guitar with electronics that If it was in a strat body I would buy in a minute. But it is this fucked up free form thing with the american flag done in colored glitter.
I think we definantly have a winner here. we can close the thread now.

It's hard to argue with any of the models you guys mentioned, particularly the Teuffel guitars. One of my least favorite looking guitars is the Parker fly. They play great, I like how they sound and feel, but they are ugly.
