Hey, i just recorded my first full band in my studio the other day, and i finished mixing one of the songs. I also have a rap song i did of a friend of mine. I was just looking to see what people thought of it. Ive been recording my own music since i was 12 (4 years ago) but now that ive put a few thousand dollars into a studio, i decided to record other bands. Let me know what you like and what you dont, and how you think i could improve it. Thanks alot.

This is the one of the full band. Theyre a metal band from mass.

I only listened to the first one but it sounded pretty good. i liked the song. The only things that stood out to me is that bass drum needs to come up a bit in the mix, and the snare seems to need more fullness or body to it, but snare sounds are all about personal preference.

First one...I like the tune. Nice and heavy. Good tones, and drums seem to have a good sound. Nice riffing. Vocals seem to sit pretty well, and sound nice. Fit the tune well. I think it sounds pretty cool.
Second tune....The low-fi vox are pretty cool. Good capture and mix of the main vocal. Fits within the music well. The background vocals make it pretty cool also. I think it sounds pretty good as is man...nice one.

Scrubucket7,
Good job mate. It all sounds right for the genre. Nice & tight too.

In the first tune, I'd make the bass drum even more clicky. I listen to alot of metal and that seems to be the signature kick drum for metal. Also, may want to add some more low end to the toms so they don't sound so weak. I think the snare sounds right for this stuff... Guitar may need a bit more low end chunk to it.

On the hip hop tune, maybe add some high end to the main vox.

It all sounds go though man.
