#1 Is anyone else having trouble with the search function? I have tried for two days to da a search for Behringer Studio C-1

#2 Has anyone dealt with this company.
http://www.djmart.com/behringermicc1.html

Their prices loo good. THe shipping scared me untill I put stuff in the card and went to check out (I did not but yet just seeing if their shipping was as bad as it looked) and the shipping was no where near as high as their chart said it was.

THanks for any info...I'll even take info on the C-1

I have heard good things on the studio C-2 and they are not $50.00 mic's form other retailers...but they are cheap. I am just looking around trying to find the best deal for my money and found the C-1. Like you said...it is kind of cheal and most of the time you get what you pay for

Only in that it's all -OR- function and makes it useless to focus in on a subject.

You could probably get a lot more results from a search if you reduced the search terms to: "Behringer" and "sucks". :D :D :D

Behringer=Nady=RadioShack=Sux :mad:

Sorry guys. I have used Behringer at least 3 nights a week for 5 years...never, and I mean never a bit of trouble, And we were on the road with it, you can say it sucks all you want but just saying it sucks dose not tell me how the C-1 works/sounds I have seen the "Who hates Behringers" threads on here and they all turn into Prasie letters for Behringer, so....Next.

As for the search engine I put in "Behringer studio C-1" and came up with a blank page with DONE in the bottom Left. I have used it before and it worked

leave out the "studio" and just search for Behringer C-1. That worked for me.

Big diff between using something for live and with using it in a recording session.......... apples and oranges.

FWIW, the threads do not turn into Behringer love fests, what usually happens is that the few who like the gear just have more staying power because those that don't have moved on and do not care as much; that is, they don't have anything invested in proving to anyone else their point.
:D

Well I used Behringer 7 nights a week for almost a year before I realized that every other preamp in my studio completely kicked its useless ass in sound quality. I was all about pumping up Behri for a while until I actually decided to compare and came to the conclusion that I was an Idiot. Not that I'm not still an idiot, I'm just much much more informed and picky. That being said the lights do still come on when you push the power button so there's a plus. And before you assume I'm a Behri basher with none of their stuff, check out the ad section, I posted my ada8000 on there.

Well, I wont buy any more Behringer gear, but I have to admit I love playing with my Edison when no one is looking.....

You call yours Edison? I call mine little Kenny

First a guy calls me an idiot then they start talking about their DICKS... :D
Thanks for the input on the seaech, I will try that.

I am no green horn guys, and to be truthful we never used any Behringer "Power" We used ther boards, F/x and Processors. THeir Pre amps and such may be crap...I don't know.

You may be right about there not being more Berhinger Lovers and that they just stay around longer...BUT non of the bashers I have seen ever suguest anything else. They just say...Don't use that it=radio shack...OK, for the money what to you suguest I use?

I did not know that the German's built radio shack stuff

Question #1 - no
Question #2 - no, their prices are higher than any of the "who's you favorite mic supplier" thread from a couple days ago
I apologize if you were offended. I think everyone would like you to steer clear of that $49 mic, you really won't like it very long, if at all

I didn't mean to offend either. A lackluster attempt at humor on my part. I, too, think that you will be unhappy with the Behringer. They sound darn grainy to me and I have a hard time EQing them to what I want. It's just easier for me to use something else. Dave

Big kenny, thanks, those were the typr of answers I was looking for. I too had my doubts about the C-1. I do know that the C-2 is cheaper there than any where else I had seen.

You guys did not really offend me and "Bathroom houmor" is OK, I wsas just trying to get back on subject :D
