Tune-o-matic mounting...

I need to install A tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece in a new body without holes. I was wondering if one should glue the bushings in place or just fit them snuggly and then srew in the binding posts. Thanks

I wouldn't glue it, but I'd want it as snug as I could get it. You want the bridge to transfer the vibes to the body. Putting glue there could act like an insalater and dampen your sustain.
