Tube Valve mic pre's

Is there something about your Focusrite that you are unhappy with? If you simply need another pair of cheap pre's, then by all means get the DMP3(I love mine), but you are definitly set with the twintrak until you want to upgrade to something on the next level. I havn't used the brick either, but it sounds like it may be just the ticket if you're looking for a little sumthingsumthing.

ok so cheap is a relative term... so if $500-600 is cool with you check out the DBX 386... dual tube channel... 200V so Not a starved plate... 24/96 convertors built in... dbx limiting.... way cool for the dough... i even use mine as the front end for my live keyboard rig... they also make a single channel version with some EQ and opto compress... think the # is 387 but wouldn't swear to it...
