Trying to make a home studio

im debating whether i should get to one on musicialsfriend or pay $10 more for the one i find more aesthetically pleasing, although the one on musiciansfriend one comes with a free pencil mic.

Well, either way, it's gonna look the same when you're holding it in your hands. I'd go for the Musician's Friend. You'd be surprised how handy a pencil condenser can be

also another question for you pros out there. what kind of equipment do I need to get to have a mic that hangs from the ceiling?

in the past i had a metal pole with hooks on each end. One end hung to a pipe on the ceiling and my microphone cord was wrapped around the other end. the pop filter hooked onto the pole. XD

They are both the same microphone, just one has a better picture than the other one, so get the one with the free microphone at MF.
As for hanging your mic (upside down to look cool) you should look into getting a spider mic clip and a boom mic stand and while your at it get yourself a pop filter then you'll be all set!
