I have a MX3282A behringer mixer and have it hooked up to my m audio interface. I have each sub group out running into the analog inputs on my interface. I can only get 5 6 7 8 to send a signal to my computer.
I have played with this since yesterday trying to understand why the 1st 1/2 of the subgroups out arent sending signal??????
I have rechecked the wiring and it is color coated so it isnt that hard.
Any ideas??????????????????????

Make sure for each track that you press the button for the sub groups you want it sent to(1-2)(3-4)(5-6)(7-8)

Yup have done that over and over on different channels on the board in case one or two channels were bad. Any other troubleshooting idea's??

Setup a mic or some source on a channel. Assign it to one of the busses that works. Once you verify the signal path is working change the input on your soundcard and make sure all the inputs are working properly. If the soundcard is good and everything works except for those first four busses you probably have a bad mixer.

What I have done so far is hook up a mic and started bacwards. I checked sub group 8 and put that as my input on my cubase AND my m audio control panel. 5-8 work fine. 1-4...nothing. I have gone through my manual and cant find something that might seperate (like stereo or something) the 8 subgroups. It sure seems 1 is supposes to work the same as 8 other then panning.
I have tried them all panned various ways as well by the way.
I have brand new cables and all the equip is new.
Before I crawl behind the rack and start unplugging I was hoping there might be some other options to try.
Thanks for any and all help.....
