Hi everyone. I've been working with a Tascam 424 mixing down onto a Harmon Kardon CD-R 2 burner. Kind of like peeing into a solid gold toilet. My first question is, if I buy a VS-880EX do I have to get their burner or would it be compatable with mine? My next question is, since I'm not a real fan of menus and button pushing, would I be better off with the Yamaha MD8- has any one worked with mini discs and how do they compare?
Stick with the solid gold toilet.

Do they have the same digital ins and outs?
The MD-8 is fine compared to that 424, but not up against an uncompressed 16bit machine.
