I have a delta 66 omni studio and a 1.3 ghz computer.

I can't export. I'll set the mixdown and try to export it, then I'll set it to turn it into a .wav file. I hit process and a window comes up and it reads "The 2 output channels will be mixed down to a mono channel" I press continue and it says "An error occured durring export." I don't even know where to start.

Thanks guys.

Nathan

First of all... Why are you mixing down to mono???
I'd change the mixdown to 16 bit - 44.1 Khz - Stereo .wav.

Why? because basically i have no idea what i'm doing.

tried stereo. there's still an error

You bought $1500 software without knowing what you are doing? ;)

Yeah there's no problem with that. It just wont export.

fretwire, just a simple thing.
do you have lots of hard drive space on your computer ?
are you using a recent computer ?
if the answer to both of the above is yes then i dont have any further ideas. sorry. other than make sure your mixdown parameters are correctly entered.

Windows XP, Pentium III

2 hard drives.

20 gig--Nuendo installed
80 gig--Directory for nuendo files

Is there any other program that can do the mixdown? Will an older nuendo be able to do it?

I don't have the manual.

Anyone have a .pdf i could have? I would get it from the site but i don't have a serial number.

Thought you said you bought it, but yet you have no serial number!

heh... I did have the L R markers wrong. This is the newbie forum.

Sorry

It'a a pain figuring out how to use "bought" software, eh? It doesn't always function like bought software. You'd find some amazing stuff in the manual.

Just don't go to the "offical" Nuendo forums for help....
