Hey! How come you guys don't have a protools forum? At any rate, I use pro tools le 6.4; I used to burn onto Nero 6.1 from protools using wav files with no problems. I recently purchased Nero 7 ultra. I follow all reccomended burn protocols, including bouncing to aiff instead of wav. Nero sees the files but sends an error message like: "files cannot be read but may be accesible with plug-in" Any suggestions? Thanks

try bouncing to WAV instead of AIFF

you need to use WAV for CD anyway

thanks for the suggestion. According to the digidesign help site, Nero7 and above needs to see aiff files from protools. I initially tried to bounce to
wav and nero 7 ultra wouldn't read. No better luck with aiff. Thanks

where are you reading this on Digi's site?
Nero should support both AIFF and WAV files. But for CD you need 44.1kHz, 16bit .WAV file.

hey man, thanks for your persistence. What I meant when I said I follow all recommended protocols was burning to 16 bit/44.1, stereo interleaved. That's why this is so frustrating. I do soundtracks for documentary films along with studio projects and have made numerous successful burns, until I bought Nero7 Ultra. That's why this is so frustrating. Like I said, I initially bounced to WAV until i got the tip about aiff. I believe I found the info on digidesign.com, after a suggestion from protools forum. If you have any other ideas, please share - thanks

sounds like it's something up with Nero then. I'd contact the company and see what they say about the error message.
