the triton is a better keyboard in my opinion. the trinity does look nicer though!

I'll say the triton, i had the trinity. Trinity is short on sounds.

I prefer the trinity, the triton never impressed me enough to make me give up my trinity.

Good call CyanJaguar,
My mother told me that the motif was the apple of her eye and not me :(

C-9-2001,

I thought you sold your triton for a MOTIF, is this true ???

no...i don't own a triton. i use my partners triton...

i have the trinity and im fine with it over the triton but i would take the motif over them both.

Trinity = Mother
Triton = Father

Mother gives love much...
Father gives money much...

Me = gives 'em a bad times much...
:D

Not bad at all.....

Resurrected an almost 5 year thread and I wanted in. :D

.depends on what you want to use it for. The triton is a great workstation. ..the sequencer is a great tool for using the onboard sounds, and the fx that come with it can make the onboard sounds brilliant. ...BUT, if youre planning on programming drums, the triton is not the way to go. Folks will argue this til theyre blue in the face, but the Triton's sequencer is not conducive to easy, fast, and most of all accurate drums. Ive found the meter to fluctuate (not noticable when using instruments, but definitely noticable when using drums), and the sequencer isnt set up to have the convenient workflow of a good software program (piano roll, etc.). 2 cents from a triton studio owner of 4 years.
