Can anyone give me insight on how to xfer my tracks to a computer and then use that in my daw (thinking of using Sonar or pro tools) my old system died (Logic w/roland vm3100 pro 12 yrs of trkn) bought the Dp-24 to use as a location recording unit mainly to record my drummer..but def want to get an interface that does 96k and continue working w/computer based DAW..any insight on how it works xfer files to a daw?
The DP24 does 24 bit 48kHz maximum. I can't imagine why you want to go to 96, but to each his own. The simplest way to move audio tracks is to put the dp24 in USB mode, and from the computer copy the MUSIC/SongXXXX folder from the DP24 to the computer. Then import your WAV tracks to the DAW. Simple.
