I just put a new soundcard in my puter, and now my tracks are bleeding onto one another.

I record track 1, then track 2... and track 2 contains everything from track 1.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Yo Chuck,
From the n-track PDF manual:

The most common problem at this stage is the so-called “bleeding” of the first track into the second track: if
the soundcard mixer is not properly set, the newly recorded track will re-record the preceding tracks, thus
destroying the isolation between the tracks. To check if this is happening just play the tracks together and
solo the second track clicking on the S button on the track’s mixer slice (above). If you still can hear the
first track after pressing the solo button, your tracks are bleeding: again see the paragraph “4.1-SETTING
THE RECORDING LEVELS” for all the instructions on how to solve this problem.
Happy Turkey Day,
Bill

Yo Chuck,
Did you manage to stop the bleeding???
Hope so,
Bill

Thanks for trying to help him, Chuck. We get this all the time at the FaSoft forum. Newbies pop in, complain that N doesn't work (of course, they're never read the manual), and never come back to read the 18 paragraph explanation you've typed for them.

Oh well...

I can always use this time to improve my typing skills :D. Oh yes, the soundcard mixer has to be the culprit, unless by rare possibility you have a multiple input soundcard which is flawed internally...
