question444

New member
i have a hohner solid-body and it doesn't seem to be cutting it anymore. I am bending and pulling more these days and I need something that will stay in tune for the most part, (though I always tune in between songs). I really like the fender Jaguar styling, and the fender toronado is kind of similar, but a little more affordable. Will either of those guitars hold tune well? Any thoughts if you own either one are helpful. Perhaps maybe my guitar just needs adjustment?

Even when you're playing live? That's really a crowd-pleaser...

Seriously, if your guitar won't stay in tune, you need new tuners.

I'd recommend putting a GraphTech nut and saddles on your existing guitar, or even the Toronado if you decide to buy it. The GraphTech nut will help your guitar stay in tune longer (the strings won't get caught in the nut grooves when you bend your strings), and the GraphTech saddles will not only help your guitar stay in tune (same reason as the nut), but you'll rarely if ever break another string.

Not if the tuners suck.

True... I would hope someone knowledgeable enough to play a guitar would know enough to replace crappy tuners... I assume question444 has already done this. Next step - Graphtech nut and saddles... ;)
