I spent yesterday and most of last night reprograming my Boss ME-6 Guitar Effects Processor using the blank patch chart to write down my effects settings so I have a record for the future. The problem is that on almost all of my patches, I cranked the Noise Suppressor up between 10-15(the range is 0-15). Before reprogramming, I found that all the patches had the noise suppressor set well below the 10 level. The problem is that now, the noise level still hasn't beed reduced enough to record with. I notice the noise level is way worse when I play my axe through my amplified speakers than it is when I play the ME-6 through my headphones. There is also a larger delay when the sound comes through my speakers. Can I salvage this FX processor for recording by cutting down the noise some how?
Thanks, Supersonic.
