nice

Hi there bpoco. Thanks for the listen and the honour of reaching your car stereo, very groovy. I baught a cheap guitar but I cant remember the name of it. It is alright but not great but It only cost about 150 Euros so I am pleased with it. The mic was also real cheap, its an MC1 which I think is a Marshal. I got it and a preamp on ebay for 50 each. It was certainly a step up from a dynamic. I place the mic closer to the frets than the hole so it does not boom as much. I use a litte of the compression effect too. I look farward to hearing your picking tune. Cheers again B.

Ahulman. Cheers mate. the backing vocals are really just trial and error. I really enjoy doing them now, i must be getting a little more confident with them. Maybe the guitra was a little quiet. man if had a cello I would throw it on every song....

SWEET!!

Hey Erland!

Long time no see, I've been way too long absent from this forum. I missed you all, and now I remember why.

What a delightful piece! Sweet, tender harmonies, a happy hopeful melody, it just feels nice and warm and airy.

You're a terrific song crafter, and so prolific!! I wish I could write melodies this engaging and hook-filled.

Cheers!
Phil

Heard alot of "low rumble" in the recording, but the vocals and the song is so catchy it didn't bother me at all*****

Hi

Hi Llarion, well thankyou indeed. You just made my day man. Welcome back, nice website too.

Hey freshears, cheers man. All that low rumble is the wind, motorbikes and spaniards outside my window! I thought only I noticed them buggers...

Erland

reminds me a little of the early Smashing Pumpkins.

Pretty cool, and no, I think it's relaxing, not cheezy;)

hey, man, I got your tunes playing in my car all the time these days, and my girlfriend thinks you have a little country vibe in your singing:eek: so, she doesn't know if she digs your voice. I almost threw her out of the car!! ha, j/k

it makes it more intimate for me.

Erland

Shite, finally I find something (a rumble, a rumble!) that doesn't rule about your music....but of course it's the wind, motorbikes and spaniards outside your window! Which, as Chris would put it, FUCKIN' RULES!

Argh!

:D

"reminds me a little of the early Smashing Pumpkins."

damn - good call man. Almost has the vibe from something like "drown"

Great song!
I would like to hear some more presence in the acoustic guitar.

Great job on the vocals and the harmonies make the song!

this seems like a good song to listen to high....

I'll put that to the test this weekend.

Cheessy????????

NO WAY!!!!

Extraordinario, increíble.

I loved the song, the guitar, the vocals, the lyrics, the background vocals, well, EVERYTHING.

You've got a great talent, man.

"You've gotta wake up" Seriously amazing, man.

your detail is dandy.

i really like when you go into your bouncy rhyming verses..

Jesus that's a good song man....

Good pickin'...GREAT lyrics...
Awesome vox harmonies.....shades of Simon and Garfunkel.....good stuff in my book...

I also would like to hear more of the guitar...but, hey....
I am biased....since I couldn't sing to save my life....

You have a great voice man...

Take it easy,
Joe

I don't know, I think you'd fit pretty well. Worth a shot. Anything's better than a job!!

Uhhhhhh...............

Are you serious?

No....not cheezy.

Moving.

Thank you.

just to reitterate...farthest thing from cheesey...

i typed up the lyrics and sent them to a friend of mine just becuase I think they are that damn good.

"you've gotta wake up to yourself cause you were born again"

jesus that's good man. really, I don't even think it's cliche....lots of songs deal with the whole "born again" theme...but what this song says to me is...

every day is new...and you can be "born again" anytime you want to and change the way things are for yourself - but *you* have to be the one to do it.

and that's something I really needed to hear right now. thanks man.

yeah...you've got a spot. If you got a band together, and did some Phish style jamming in between your pop songs....you could have your way with the college crowd in the States for sure.

"Too Cheesy"
I don't think so, refreshingly optimistic. Good song and recording.

In such a sparse mix I could have heard a little more sparkle on the guitars.
