Tony Burnett Videos? Rip off or Necessity?

So I just got my latest issue of guitar player and flipping through the pages I found some like "MIRACLE VIDEO LESSONS" that were taped with Tony Burnett's "Secret teachings" and it actually sounds like it can help a guitarist which I would consider buying since I entered guitar a little late at age of 14 and will do anything to make up some time, and any guitarist would work to do something thats DEFINATELY gonna make him better as this thing claims it can

but

i live in America and I know how people get ripped off

they want 97$ for this DVD set and a TAB book with it

so tell me your perspective guys?

RIP OFF or Something I should consider?

I've never used these types of things before, so I can't really say what they offer. But... I have to think that in this day and age, all the information, lessons, scales, modes, chords, etc have got to be available on the net for free.

Maybe not, but if I was looking to brush up on some things, thats where I'd look first.

I don't think 14 is starting late. I started at 13 and I'm pretty damn good.

like mindcore said though, there's too much free stuff on the net to pay someone 90 bones to teach you. If you're spending that dough, go get lessons for a month.
