Tom,

My message has nothing to do with mics but I noticed your participation in this forum so here goes... You've probably fielded this question before.

The apendix B block diagram in the 386 manual shows a switcable low cut filter in the mic input path which I assume is controlled by the front panel low cut switch buttons. Following the peak led in the common mic/line path, another switchable low cut filter is pictured.

I can't understand how the second filter is controlled. Could you clarify this?

Mike, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I've been out of town.

Congratulations! You have discovered an error in the diagram. The correct location of the filter is the one just after the peak LED. The one in front does not even exist. Good eye man!
