I've emailed these guys and will probably get some answers, but time is an issue. I've read the press releases on this dual channel strip but can't find info on availability and shipping. I also can't find out- Are they class A or A/B preamps? How many decibels of gain? how are signal to noise ratio and harmonic distortion? Also, is PMI selling Toft direct only, or is there a distributor I can't find?
Moreover, can anybody tell me that they have used it, and is the compressor any good?. Thanks in advance for anybody who has some of this info...Alan?-Richie

OK, I'll answer my own question. I had a nice chat with Alan today. The Toft is a class A/B preamp, relatively similar to Grace 101 in it's basic form. The Beta units will arrive for testing next week, and they should have the first production run in about 3 weeks, and will be able to deliver in about 4 weeks from today.-Thanks, Richie-Richie
