He's probably in sensory overload. A team of paramedics are trying to pry the remote out of his hands as we speak.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOH Mannnnnnnnn!!!!
Am I tired!
1st thing, I didn't know that the HD24 didn't come with the IDE
drives (20gig), so I went out and bought 2 swapables! After spending Friday goining over the entire manual, I finally put it in one my new Raxess racks(with my 4 other ADATs) and mannnn,
the sucka' looked pretty! Saturday I went out spent anuth 2-300 on snakes and spent the next 3-4 hours admiring this piece of beauty while at the same time getting drunk! After powering it up
on Saturday nite, I then hooked up the snakes from my board to the HD24 and THAT's as FAR AS I GOT over the WEEKEND!!!!
The majority of the time I spent was re-racking the Adats and HD24, hooking up my new Roland JV1010 sound module and bought anutha Composer Pro (for $69). Repositioning my rack
furniture, unhooking and hooking up snakes, cables etc.!!
No, I haven't commenced any operation of the HD24 yet as the
other hours I spent not hooking up cables and re-pos'ing, I simply
sat in my new adjustable enginneers chair drinking beer and vodka,FULLY ADMIRING MY new TOYS!!!!
Starting today, I will commence operation of the HD24 my recording a simple 4 track jammy, using it's editing and learning how to cut, copy and paste and syncing my other ADAT's to the HD24 as slaves and hopefully transferring my ADAT tapes over to
the HD24!! Mesh-Man, I'm havin' a ball, but me thinks I won't start doin' any serious recording until approx 4 weeks later after I find out what the f#ck I'm supposed to do! :D 1 step at a time!!!
So much to do,so little time!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Boy-eeeeeeee!!!!!

MrQ... You really have a problem. And you know it. I suggest you take care of it. I'll help you. You got to let go of it slowly. First you gotta quit that buying habit. That's step 1. Then you gotta get rid of the gear you have now. Slowly. One piece at a time. You can sent it to me, one piece of gear every few weeks, and I'll give it back *for sure* when you are cured of that terrible condition.

Dude. What did you do?? New HD24, new snake, get some drives with it, new rack to put it in, another compressor, even a new CHAIR??? You's very sick man. Very sick. Sad...

If only I had the money. I really deserve all that gear, you know. I even HAVE the money. But I need to save for the coming years. :(

Roel, these are all needful things my son. We NEED these things. If you have the money, spend it on toys NOW. You'll thank me in the long run. Trust me.

Roel, this gear was purchased via the bonus I got from my slave job!! I worked hard for it and was due! But the hardest part of this gear-purchasing quest was sneaking it into my basement st00-de0 past the wife and hiding all reciepts into the locked compartment in my truck!:D
But Roel, I do admit to a prob! I am a long-time member of The Dedicated Gear-Slut aDDICTS aNONYMOUS!!

Well... If I'd have the time to record demo's for bands etc, I'd get some more gear too, but my job, rehearsels and music lessons consume every bit of time, leaving hardly enough time to sleep. That is, if I skip meals.

But I shouldn't complain. Got about everything I need to play live. Altough I could use a better sax. Darn.

Got mine from Sammy's for $1800! Why? No IDE drives,no immediate Alesis support/contact at Sammy's yet Sammy's gtd
it's overall performance with an unusual 1year free return/exchange policy! Any thing to get that money.
