To the experienced mixer/masterers out there!!

My band is recording, and we are having tons of problems recording the vocals and mixing them. We are trying to figure out if its the recording, or the mixing thats the problem. I was wondering if someone here would take a shot at mixing one of our songs, just to see what exactly is our problem. I'd greatly appreciate... as it would take alot off my mind knowing someone else gave me an opinion on the actual "recording" of our song.
