hey man, how's that Spacewalker working out for ya? I was curious if it would have any problems because of the SiS chipset.

Not a glitch yet (except some shady Windows garbage, nothing to do with the hardware). And I love it. It's so small that I consider it portable. I can take it and my Delta 1010 pretty much anywhere. And I built the box for under $800 :D

Get yourself a Pelican Case, a roll up keyboard and a 14" LCD, and you got yourself a portable recording studio with more inputs than anybody!
 
Main reason I went this direction was size and heat. We have NO space in our studio and it's pretty air tight due to soundproofing with just enough ventilation to keep us alive. ;) The last thing I wanted was some huge tower running multiple fans for cooling. This seemed the best option. It runs consistently under 45 C and you know about the size. I think I could even use it for live, though I have no reason to do that yet except documenting purposes. :D
