This aint my usual cup of tea so be warned! I was mucking about with soundforge and slapped this into the fourtrack! I have heard some amusing songs so I thought I would contribute.

Time to be harrassed. I will take it off soon, I am just bored thats all!

What were you thinking. Just kidding. Where'd the brass come from (it almost took the top of my head off). It was just a bit brash. Hey, it WAS a fun little tune as you said.

Swinger

The brass is the loop of the whole song it just lies unnoticed and then sweeps up. I am glad it gave you a shock. Stupid song, yup.

Cheers Track Rat. Got any new stuff? I am currently confined to my room.

Yes and no. I have to talk to Waldo to see what's up with my account. I went to pull some stuff down and put some newer stuff up but it won't let me. Again, good stuff my creative friend.:D

skipalongalie

I liked the little fun tune you did.Im gonna have to pull out the big band cd's.

I couldnt help but click on some more tunes and check them out also.

I REALLY like "skipalongalie".Man you have a unique voice.Have you thought about adding a bridge to it and completing it as a song?Sounds really good.

How did you record the acoustic guitars on skipalongalie?

Skipalongalie

Cheers rbw

Glad you liked that cheeky wee song. Skipalongalie was my second attempt at recording a vocal tune. I don`t really like listening to my own voice and the vocals are really loud on that one.

I just listened to it now, the guitar was actually recorded direct. I think two guitars panned a little left and right plus another guitar with reverb for the plinky notes (with two different harmonies). Oh yes, and I also did a chord or two with a distorted effect, turned it down and made it increase a little just before the chorus. Then added a bass effect and then some vocals. Recorded on my boss Br532 4 track.

Thanks for the compliment.

As for making it longer, yup that would make sence I just don`t have time and when I do I want to record something new. I am learning all the time you see. Next term, I will have loads of free time, bring it on.

That's really cool Erland. Odd yes, but interesting.

The vocal sound is really nice as well, I dig the sound of the whole thing actually. Vocals are a bit loud to me in spots but not overally so. Great use of active panning and dynamics.

Emeric

Yehaa, I can`t believe I put that stupid thing on. I have listened to "oversight" many times, its one of my favourite on the forum.

I had loads of propper songs on a while ago Emeric, I wish you had listened to them instead. How embarrissing!
