Right so here is my predicament...
I live at home with my folks and sleep in a very VERY small bedroom. It really is tiny and to give you a better perspective of just how small it is, I can fit in it a single bed, a wardrobe and a desk to fit my television on. I can just about walk comfortably from the bed to the door and struggle to open my wardrobe fully.
Because of my tiny room, I talked my folks into letting me set up my home studio downstairs in the dining room where I have been working for just over two years. Because this is a family space, I cannot install any acoustic treatment around the room, which I think may be causing my mixes to suffer.
What I want to know is whether you guys think it would be worth squeezing my studio back into my bedroom and investing in some quality treatment, or simply staying put in my untreated dining room space. I have both an Apple iMac and a Mac Book Pro so maybe a compromise between the two would be the way forward?
Any comments/recommendations would be much appreciated!
Thank you all,
Andy
