Hey, I know how to slip tracks back and forwards, but I was wondering if there was a way to "time-align" 2 tracks together automatically, like in ProTools.
There should be a way to highlight a track or right click on it, pick something like "time-align" and then pick the track you want to line it up to, and voila! Instant alignment, tight as possible. This would be great for some overheads and alot of other micing arrangements and much faster than trying to zoom in and move them around.
Anyone know of a way? I'm gonna email them too, I dont rem reading anything in the manual about it.
Peace!

Hey Tubedude

Never seen it in 9.0. don't know in sonar? another reason I think I need pro tools. Argggg.!!! Sounds like a cool feature. I assume it corrects phase problems?? I have never even tried to line them up the old fasion way. I have not delt with live drums alot though and I assume that is where it would be the most handy.

They mailed me and told me it doesnt do it, yet... but may eventually....
it handy all the time... double micing guitar cabinets, one close, one a few feet back, etc... fattens shit up nice....
write and request it... everyone write and request it, nothing to lose but 2 minutes...

HAHAHAHA...Just when tubedude thought "there's nothing that Protools can do that Sonar cannot"...HAHAHAHA!!!!! ;)

I'm just jerkin your chain!!;)

Damnit.
I can still align pretty fast if needed, but I would like a simpler method, thats all. I'm WAY into convienence.
It'll come, it'll come...
