Thoughts on this newie?

Hey folks

Been away for a while but im back and have loads to look at and listen too round here

Heres a newie - do you think the "highs" are too bright? I kinda like it like that but not sure if i have gone a little far?

Thoughts appreciated as always.

Nope.

I like the way this plays with musical stereotypes. It's 1960s country (good work re the clean, rhythmically tight playing to get that effect), but then again, it's something else altogether.

Very nice sounding man. I think it's good as is. I could actually listen to this and enjoy it with a few cold beers and coming from me that says a lot

Nice execution as well, but the drums sound a little too harsh at times. Not sure harsh is the right word. like it's too compressed or something. I don't know. It sounds fine the way it is and I can ignore the drums real easy. They aren't that obtrusive.

the drums: for the kick and cymabals i used addictive drums plug in and then recorded my actual snare drum using brushes.... is it the snare that a little harsh or the cybals (or both?)
