thoughts on this heavy metal track

It's tighter than some of the earlier stuff. Guitars sound alright. I'm not hearing much bass. Give it some vocals.
 
I think the guitars are too forward and they have too much "fuzz" sounds like you are DI'ing them? Its really noticeable in the main riff. When you go into the chorus(?) riff, it sounds better. Really cool song, drums sound good but the guitars are so forward they are a little buried.
 
thanks for feedback guys, I am using guitar rig for amp simulation. I'll take a second look, at maybe a different amp or lowering the volume
 
I sort of liked the guitars. Maybe a little too much gain. But not real bad. THere is a little high end abrasiveness to them in certain parts.. But for the genre I thought they sounded OK. Good playing.

I'll never get metal drums. Too robot-y for me.

Guitars are a bit loud. Or the bass is a little soft.
 
Ex3vious I'm surprised you bother naming genres anymore considering how contentious it becomes haha

I thought the guitars were a little too forward too, sounds like you're a guitar guy so that's understandable. Share the spotlight a bit. :D

Everything else sounded good to me, I like the guitar tones.
 
Yes easlern, lol I almost didnt name it but who could argue this isn't metal, actually never-mind im sure theres someone who would be glad to argue over this label.
