Sick... that is just sick. I'm waiting for the day that I master the one handed drum roll. Boy... that'd be the day. :) Nice find!

Crazy . . .

Also, its the Ludwig kit from High School versus the Ludwig kit I owned for ten years. . . . pretty funny.

the one handed drum roll is masterd by a technique called the moella technique. i was first written down by joe morello (very famous jazz drummer) but was used before then. im 15 and from wales,UK and i can almost do it to the speed he could (well im gettin there. lol). it's all to do with upstokes. so after you've hit the downstorke you tense you bicep and your wrist flicks up and the stick moves down. hes isnt in fact buzzing the stroke hes doin single strokes with upward flicks. its hard 2 comprehend but there are many books and dvds now promoting the style even thought its quite unheard of. i would never have heard of it but im lucky enough to be taught by one of joe morellos pupils. i would strongly advise anyone to investigate and master this technique - also its more relaxing and you can play longer and have more control over your speed and dynamics. and you can use it in any grip.
