Here is something that I have been working on for a little while which I think I nearly have got right in relation to the mix.

All comments, the song itself and the mixing, greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Q.

Whoa ... Where's the beat ... 1 .. 2 .. 3 .. 5 .. 21 .. 1 ..

This is pretty different, but pretty cool. You have a lot going on here.

The mix sounds good on my machine. A pretty interesting tune for the most part. It almost kind of reminded me of Queen in a strange kind of way.

Good vocals and great playing. The more I listen the more I like this. All that stuff going on kind of makes you want to get up and dance or maybe hit a wall or something...lol

You did a good job on this and it all seems to work!

I think it looks like Angelfire sucks only slightly less than Geocities.... Geocities let's one person d/l load and then suspends my site for 15mins, Angelfire doesn't suspend the site but only allows one d/l at a time.

Thanks for the nowhereradio.com tip - I have posted it there now too.

The beat ;) actually is an irish jig sped up by 60% - if you try to count it, it sounds like ONE-and-a,TWO-and-a,three-and-a,four-and-a

I liked the topic of the lyrics. The writting was pretty good. Like I said in your other thread, I like your vocal tracking and the vocal.

I thought the drums could come up and the bass as well to give the tune more of a thump on the "this dirt is mine" parts. Those cymbals crash away and crash away.....they get predictable and annoying imho. Maybe use some kettle or snare to accent some of the parts instead of the cymbals all the way through. Granted, I'm not a drum dude but, the repetative nature of the cymbals stuck out to me.

Cool song, could use more crunch and thump but, it rocks as it is..

Peace,
Theron.
