This is the first band I ever tried recording. The band's name was Ascension, and I was their soundman. They are no longer together, as the bass player and drummer went on to form the band Flax... Anyway, at this time (1994) I did not have a multitrack recorder. All I had was a minidisk recorder, so these recordings were done straight to two-track. We also had some crappy mics (most of them were V-Techs). My mixing board at that time was a Mackie 1604. Needless to say these were not my best recordings, but it was the beginning.
