Ummm, from the looks of it those are stage/PA monitors, not mixing monitors... or did you realize that?

Yeah,
I know they're pa, but they are very small and they claim to be pretty loud.
I was thinking they might be good for near feild while playing drums, to avoid using phones, just for practice.
I haven't heard them yet, I'm sure they are not recording quality monitors, but may be good little pa monitors.

The Hot Spot with two 5 inch full range speakers, does 120 db at 200 watts. This thing is the size of a shoe box, and NO TWEETER, can you dig it.

If you listen to a pair of Yorkville YSM=1 monitors, you will be amazed at the clarity.
Last PM a very, very, very good bass player, one of much professional experience, was at my digs and heard my Yorkvilles for the first time. He was in awe at the clear bass thump and the excellent total output. Hey, they are not the best but for the price they are the best.
