2 questions:

1. Have you used it yet?

And 2. If so, how is it processor-wise? (I have a fairly old system, and don't know if it would be up to the task)

Yes, I downloaded it last night and played with it a couple hours.
The gui is quite cool. They did some things exceptionally well.
I didn't see any cpu load meters (kinda odd really) but it worked fine on my 2.8 P4 with 512 ram. They're saying this'll have a $325 street price but you can buy this month for like $256.

I'd say it's up there with GR3, Amplitude, and Revalver, but I haven't decided whether to turn over the coin yet.

OK, so the big drawback here is the Pace Anti-Piracy that comes with it. I have to recommend you STAY AWAY from this software if you value your rights, assuming you still have any.

I downloaded the demo and checked it out. I have to say I love it! I didn't like the other modeler software systems I tried but I think this one is going to get my coin. I am not sure whats up with the Anti-Piracy thing but Piracy is bad so how is that a turn off?

Anyway. Here is a clip I made. It was to a pink floyd backing track and I did it in one take sooo don't think too much of it ;)

The setting was a factory default setting called Soloist and I used a Fender Strat of course. I was plugged straight into my mixer which goes to my interface.

I'm at work so I can't listen now. Glad you like it. I like it too, just not sure I like it $300 worth.

Pace software is an issue because basically it's an encrypted backdoor virus that lets those Pace technicians into your computer whenever it's connected to the internet. Remember Sony is doing basically the same thing. All in the name of making sure they get their money. If you decide to remove the the amp sim from your computer, the PACE software remains. It's VERY hard to eradicate.

I just think if I paid for some guitar software, I shouldn't have to open up my computer to anyone who wants to look inside. If they want to know that I did indeed pay for their product, they could just look up my reciept in THEIR computer.
