Hi all!
Just a quick question. I haven´t got Cubase VST 5 yet but I was wondering if it were possible to use it to manipulate a vocal track to the degree of getting a Stevie Wonder-esque Vocoder sound? I cannot run audio thru my Korg Trinity which I´m going to use as my master keyboard.
Thanks

You'll probably need to use a VST or DX plugin.

FXpansion Robotik Vocoder, Prosoniq Orange Vocoder and the Hyperprism vocoder all run within VST. I've used the Prosoniq one before and it's pretty good, although I haven't tried to get a 'Stevie Wonder-esque' sound from it. It does the Kraftewerk thing pretty nicely though.

There's a few voicebox/autowah plugs available that can give a semi-vocoder effect too.
