Does an IPAQ have any audio inputs? Or a USB jack? Or how are you supposed to record anything onto it?

The IPAQ has a built in Mic and recording capabilities which this software taps into. You can capture vocal ideas and add the music later with this software. The IPAQ also has a headphone jack so you don't have to play back through the mini speaker.
If your thinking external mics and processors fogedaboudit. This is meant to be an idea tool not a finished product device.
Actually you could output the midi data and wave files (although they are 16 bit 44.1Khz) then synch these over to the desktop and drop them in Sonar or sequencer of choice. That way you could save time not having to rebuild your ideas.
