I'm getting ready to pick up some bass traps, and I'm trying to decide exactly how many to get. The trouble is, my studio is a little irregularly shaped (see the attached image, below).
The blue section is a door, the yellow denotes the window. As you can see there's a closet in the bottom right corner of the room. I have removed the doors from it so that it's totally open, like a little alcove, and part of the room.
The upshot is that I technically have five corners in the room. Do I need a bass trap for each of them?
I know I need to put traps up on each of the four walls where the wall meets the ceiling. I also know I need four more, one for at least four corners of the room. So that's eight so far. Do I need a ninth one for the extra corner in the closet?
