I recently had to do my best Coverdale impression for a track in a Hal Leonard book called Guitar Tab Theory.

Whaddaya think? Pass or fail? I can take it. :)

Sounds pretty damn good to me.

I don't know if this matters to you or not, but since you say it's for a guitar tab book, you have one chord wrong. The last chord before going to the "A" (I've made up my mind....) should be a "B", not another "D". It should go C,B,A (But I've made up my mind...).

Other than that, it sounds really good to me.

Thanks. You're right about that --- the walk down from C - B - A. This is a slightly simplified version of the song because of where they are skill-wise in the song. Thanks for the listen!

I used to be a big Whitesnake fan. Good live shows too.
You do the vocal justice. You're a bit raspier than him.
