Who would you recomend they go to? YOU?
Actually, I take it back. You do have a sense of humour. No-one could possibly talk the copious reams of shite that you have without meaning it all as a little joke.

I'd recommend anyone wanting to spend money goes to someone who can produce a good-sounding result. Cross yourself off the list, sister!

And anyone desperate to see my REAL talents should come down to the local drag club on a Saturday night ... that's right, my real talents involve laughing at Cloneboy in drag  I'm the best.

Actually I did that already so no, I wouldn't redo the bathroom again. Today I am moving on to the windows and maybe some other fun painting stuff around the house. I regularly come home from painting for 10+ hours to do some more of the same around the house.

See, I actually like what I do for a living.

My uncle used to be a painter. Said it drove him nuts because it was so boring. He described it as work only fit for people too stupid and uncoordinated to be roofers.

Glad to see you're fitting in.

You stopped doing music because you know you suck at it.

Actually I stopped because I was doing too much recording to have time for it. Also, the most I ever made playing music was about 200 bucks for a gig, and I hate playing live anymore.

Recording pays a bit more. After awhile it started to pay as much as my desk job.

And trust me, I've heard your stuff. I'd beat your lower class ass on guitar and keys.

You didn't make $1000 this week, and if you did those people have a refund coming.

Once again you prove your ignorance of the world of professional audio. Engineers *never* give refunds--that's why god invented remixes and remasters.

:)

Your confusion is evident with every sentence you type.

You should just take a break man.

I am done kicking this dead horse.

Have the last word there Massenburg.

OH MY GOD YOU ARE FINALLY GOING TO STFU?

Wow, I didn't even have to try very hard.

Truth getting to you little dutch boy? :)

Hey--did you want to be an artist when you grew up? Well now you are... sorta...

Oh, and you're so predictable I'll beat you to the punchline:

"Kinda like you're a pro engineer!"

There, I saved you the effort.

Wanker.

Ah, so anyone can be a professional engineer as long as they refuse to give the money back? Now I'm starting to understand how someone as cretinous as you slipped in under the wire. :)

Um, yeah, you probably haven't noticed then the 18 pages of people asking you to STFU then.

Very observant.

Hey, don't you have some recording to do?

Come on then. Put your dick away and get your guitar out. If this is going to be some kind of class argument, the least you can do is back up your talk. Please, do it for all of your fans who desperately believe the only reason you suck is that someone dropped you and your studio in hydrochloric acid.

Nah, I have some cleaning around the house, maybe play some Beethoven, watch some TV. Heck, maybe I'll even do my ironing.

Why do you ask?

Mixes are subjective though. What sounds good to one person is crap to another.
I have to disagree with you on that one.... there IS a calibre of audio esthetics that is above subjective opinion - mostly relating to space/air around tracks, width, depth and tightness of stereo image, overall mix balance, and even representation of all areas of the sonic spectrum.

All of these characteristics have level of quality that most audio professionals will agree as either being universally good or bad.

How many home recordists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

1 to do it (poorly) , and about 20 other people on this site to say they could do it better...

And me to say, that lightbulb's in wrong, I can't do it any better, but maybe you shouldn't have charged the old lady 20 bucks for the privilege.

Uh-oh... did this thread just start all over again?

No, course not. It's just that now he's also claiming he's a top-drawer musician as well as an engineer destined from multiple Grammys. But I guess now he's posted his mix it's all over and we can go back to normal life eh?

Or maybe as long as it's clear that everyone thinks he's a prick he'll carry on digging himself deeper?

when I look in the mirror....

As I walk down the street under the dark of night...

when I'm startled by sudden noises as I shower...

when objects are unexpectedly dropped...

The snare...

The snare...

The snare...
THAT SNARE...

It haunts me...

Cue excuses relating to piccolo snares and how even a pro such as Cloneboy can't tune them properly, mic them properly and make them sound ok. It just can't be done ... hence all those famous professionals who, er, use them without any trouble.
