Oh My!

I had to listen to the "rd5" version and then chris's additions and "TWEEKING". It's like watching a silver gauntlet being polished. The song was very enjoyable on the first listen and it keeps getting better. Muse, your song is shining brighter and brighter every time you touch it!
Chris, wonderful touches. What a group of talented and generous souls in the forum.........

Nice to witness the progress of your tune.

:)

Now, I need to balance my ass out and get mad at something....:D :D

Wow,nice suprise!
Thanks Chris,really sounds good!

This was a really rough version, just to see if the production was o.k.
You made it sound like finished song!:D

I'm working on the finished version now,if you'd still be willing to add some bg vox to that, that would be great.
I'll PM you.

Thanks Sam,
I changed pretty much everything, give it a little more life?
When you hear the cymbals in the final, just know their especially for you!:D

Thanks Joe Recorder(cool name),
I appreciate your comments very much!

Thanks boydrj,
Always appreciate your input!
I'm trying to add a rock organ also.

I agree,the arrangement needed a little pumping up,glad you liked it,thanks.

I appreciate it Theron, glad you liked it!
Chris's bg vocals do wonders.

Collabs are cool!
I really liked your last, just great!

Thanks,
Pete

Well, everybody has thrown their 2 cents in, so you've got about a bucks worth of ideas now, but I have one other on to throw at you--a different drum beat. Why? Cause I think your songs wants to lift off but the drum part keeps it from doing so.

Right now, counting 8th notes, your snare hits on the 5th one, or on the 3 as I count it. I'm not great at this, bear with me. Basically, I want the snare to hit on the 2 and 4. Just a thought.

Right after I gor your tune, my computer went daffy. It's just this evening that I finished fixng it.

No, the tune. I like it. It's got a nice maj7 guitar thing going. I like the separation on the guitar too.

I'm having trouble catching all the vocals on my monitors, although it was strong on my headphones. To me, the vocals sound a little dampened, maybe a little reverb? The voice is good.

Thanks, I enjoyed your song.

Pete;

Road2 much better than 1, Bro. Then I listened to Chris doing the backing Vox and it added so much to the tune even though it was it was very subtile.

Great job, Dudes!!!

Blessings;

CR

Thanks Crawdad, for the listen and the tip!
Sounds like a good idea, definatly give it a try.

Thanks Denis,glad you liked it.
The guitars are actually double tracked.
I used a plate on the vox, mabey needs a little more.

Thanks axe,
I think adding a little beat really helped.
I'm looking foward getting together with Chris!

This is a very pretty song. Beautiful melody. Like everyone, I liked the playing on the guitar. In addition, I thought the song had a nice chord progression.

As others have said, the vocals were quiet. It also seems a bit out of your range. The low notes were especially quiet, and as you got to higher notes, the volume was up. I wonder if a key change might help...???...

There are also some things I think you could do vocally, such as harmonies, "ahhhs," and answerbacks. That might add to the ambience. Just thoughts.

Nice song. Trip...
