Yet, you made it tastier by adding less Velveeta than most 80's bands could restrain from. Yet ... I believe it was the late 80s that suffered from poor music ... really poor music.
Early 80s OTOH was the introduction of rougher edged stuff back into mainstream -- it was the natural response to the bland that pervaded mainstream at the time. It was also the period I was playing in bands (roughly 79 through 86) ... and I remember a LOT of great music from then.
Then the hair bands struck ... sigh ...
Actually, what impressed me most is that your recording IS better than the original ... and it's homemade.
